CHAPTER 19: Chris
As Hazel stepped out of the house, the sparkling sun welcomed her with it's stinging rays, it's light shining in her eyes, causing the golden in them to twinkle.
She deeply inhaled the fresh air, knowing that's what she has been craving for past two days.
A hand on her back had her continuing her path to the porch before she stopped infront of the car. As she stepped forward to open the door, Chris beat her to it and pulled it for her.
She looked up at him with disbelief in her eyes, surprised at his chivalry.
"Don't look this shocked, munchkin." Chris chuckled, "I'm just practicing for my future wife." He ended his tease with a wink.
Huffing, she sat down as Chris then closed the door, rounded to his side, opened the door to his side and sat down followed by him starting the engine and car roaring to it's life.
As per Theodore's instructions, they were now headed to the headquarters, much to Hazel's excitement.
