Chapter 30: A Little Bit More

Adriel took the phone from Zenon’s hand and looked at the picture he was pertaining to. It was a picture of her and Zeth during Mr. Earl Gray’s party. She doesn’t exactly know when it was taken, but it was on her phone nonetheless. Someone must have taken a picture of them when she was drunk.

Adriel sternly looked at Zenon and sighed. “What did I tell you about using my phone, Zenon? I told you not to snoop around and to just play games.”

Zenon guiltily looked down on the ground. “I just wanted to see pictures, mommy. Then I saw someone who looks like me. Is it my daddy?” he innocently asked.

Adriel closed her eyes to calm herself down. She knew that she shouldn’t get angry with Zenon for merely wanting to satiate his curiosity. However, at the same time, she doesn’t know how to respond to her son.
