Chapter Twenty-Five

Lisa's POV

I winced at the white light that singed into my pupils as I woke up. I clamped my eyes shut, turning my head to the other side as I heard voices. "Boss, she's awake." I heard a male voice. 

My throat was rough and sour as air scratched it's dry walls like sandpaper on a wood. A gun cocked and I stiffened in fear.

"My love." I said and stared at the daring eyes that looked at me. "James!" I exclaimed, shocked.

He scrunched up on his face, his eyes darting towards me as he smiled. "Were you actually expecting to marry Alex?" He asked.

"You bastard!" 

"You look so dejected, poor Alex must be so worried, he doesn't know that you've been kidnapped." He said. 

My lips quirked as a brief, distasteful laugh made me shudder. I wanted to punch him but I realized my hands were tied.

"You're a psycho." I muttered with a groan as he chuckled.
