She was in the pool again.

I saw her from the second-floor balcony, and for a long moment, I didn’t move. I just watched her.

She was wearing a black bikini, her skin glistening under the sun. I gawked at her slender body as she glided through the water.

Her head bobbed above the surface, and she was a vision. Every inch of her was perfect.

I hadn’t planned on coming down here. But here I was, walking toward the edge like I had no damn control over myself. Maybe I didn’t.

I didn’t the last time I was with her—I’d trapped her in an elevator and almost fucked her there.

She surfaced and saw me standing there.

Her eyes flicked to mine. There was no tenderness in her blue gaze. She didn’t look at me like she used to anymore.

I didn’t care.

I sat on the edge of a lounger, leaned forward, and lit a cigarette I didn’t want. “You always swim when you’re pissed?”

She didn’t answer. Just turned and pushed off the edge again.

I watched her glide across the water like it wasn’t driving me ins

ArabellaI merely smiled at him.His fingers brushed against my crotch, and his lips curled into a smirk. “It’s a fountain here, baby…”I blushed hard and lowered my eyes. “I want to moan your real name when you pleasure me…” Even I didn’t believe I had said it out loud.Of course, it was more than that. If I was in love with the man, I needed to know his name at least.Love? What a strange word, but it was true. I was in love with my bodyguard. I was in love with Leonardo Moretti. He grinned; that beautiful smile that made me weak in the knees. “I promise not to fall short of your expectations, Arabella. I would also like to hear you moan my name…” he whispered, and then he took my panties off, baring me to him.He shut his eyes and inhaled, his lips curling into a pleased smile. He was smiling like my panties were a scent he was addicted to.Just like he said, they were soaking wet—just like they always were whenever I was around him. He brought them to my nose.“This… you drive me

ArabellaMy lips curled into a mischievous grin. “No,” I whispered. His eyes widened in surprise, he hadn’t expected that response.I bit down on my lower lip. “Frankly, I don’t think I owe you anything.”He grabbed my upper arm, pulling me close. “You don’t believe that, Arabella,” he murmured near my ear. Goosebumps spread over my skin as I shuddered. “I think we’re past pretending we don’t need each other. Don’t you think so?”Need… I strained. “Interesting choice of word.”He gripped my jaw, our lips only inches apart. “Yes, Bella. Need,” he said. “That’s the only reason you’re in a limousine, on your way to your own pre-wedding party, and yet your body yearns for another man—me.” He emphasized the last word.“You don’t know that,” I blurted. At this point, I didn’t know if I was outright refusing him or desperately goading him, hoping he’d take the bait. His eyes flickered to my breasts, now practically spilling out of the top of my dress. “Really?”My cheeks flushed with embarra

ArabellaI stared at my reflection in the mirror. The ladies who had helped dress me up were already packing up and leaving.I couldn’t deny that I looked beautiful—more beautiful than I had ever looked.I mean, it was expected, seeing as I was wearing a very beautiful dress that Marco had spent a fortune on. It was a pink satin dress that clung to me, but not in a way that made it hard for me to breathe. It had tiny sleeves and was backless, pooling around my feet. I was wearing it with a matching pair of silver heels and clutch.Marco’s voice echoed in my mind: I want you to look elegant. I want them to see what’s mine.I adjusted the straps and stepped out of my room, my heels quiet on the marble. Each step toward the stairs made my heart beat louder. This was supposed to be a dinner. A pre-wedding celebration. A soft show of power. I was supposed to be radiant. Grateful. His.But I felt hollow.I saw him the moment I reached the top of the stairs.Six.He stood near the front door

ArabellaThe elevators opened, and it was the same strangers from earlier. We were still locked in; I was straddling him, his arms gripping my thighs.“Hi…” they greeted, awkward smiles on their faces.I smiled at them, my cheeks bright red, as we waved back at them, awkward smiles on our faces. It could have been any of Marco’s men. It could have been Marco himself. They didn’t come in this time around; they let us have the elevator to ourselves. I got down from him and ran toward the doors.“Arabella…”“Don’t talk to me, Six.”The doors opened up, and I rushed out. I could hear him trailing behind me, but I didn’t turn around to look. I walked as fast as my legs could carry me.His mouth still tingled on mine. I touched my lips, wondering if my lipstick was smeared.I hadn’t caught my breath since the kiss. Six had kissed me like he meant it, like he’d die if he didn’t. And I let him. Again and again, unashamedly. I let him kiss me without demanding an apology or at least an explana

ArabellaSix was kissing me.Those were the words ringing in my head. I was pressed up against the wall, his body trapping me in between. I could feel the bulge in his pants; he was aroused, and so was I.And nothing else mattered—not the fact that we were in an elevator, nor the fact that Marco was in this building. Not even my anger toward Six could stop me from feeling all the things I was feeling in this moment.I had been so conscious of him walking behind me; I could feel his piercing stare, and now that our bodies were pressed against each other and our lips locked, I could feel all of the emotions. His kisses were soft at first, and then it got heated. His hands roamed my body, feeling me up while his mouth attacked my lips aggressively. He tasted of bourbon and whiskey, his scent a perfect blend of citrus and sandalwood that wafted through the air, enveloping me.I shut my eyes, basking in the scent. I wanted to be wrapped up in it completely. He cupped my cheeks, deepening t

SixThe VIP lounge in the bar was filled with Marco’s men. Soft tunes played in the background, scantily clad ladies sashayed from one end to the other. The bartenders were refilling the glasses as quickly as they emptied. The men were talking loudly and would occasionally burst into laughter. None of it mattered; it was all background noise, all of it except her.Arabella.She was seated on the couch next to Marco, wearing that black leather dress that clung to her like it was made just for her. It accentuated her figure. Her hair was swept back, her lips were a bright red, and by God, did she look smoking hot.I didn’t know if she was doing it on purpose; heck, I couldn’t even tell what she was doing, but I was bothered. I couldn’t even relax; I kept adjusting my tie, stealing glances at her.My eyes traveled the length of her body, and I could feel the stiffness in my pants. I slowly averted my eyes. What are you doing to me, Arabella Rodriguez?Since I walked in on her with him, I

FrancescoThey thought I wasn’t watching. That’s the part I enjoy the most.Family meetings were boring unless you knew where to look. Marco was barking orders at Nico about tightening security at the ports; we were expecting a huge delivery, but my mind had already checked out. I was seated on the far end, nursing my whiskey. That’s when it happened—Arabella’s foot caught in the rug, and she tumbled over, but just before she fell, Six shot up from his chair like clockwork and caught her in his arms.He held onto her tightly, as if she were made of fragile glass and would shatter any moment now.It wasn’t dramatic. No gasps. No crash. Just quiet tension.Their eyes locked. For a second, I thought they’d kiss right there in front of Marco, Nonna, and God himself. But Six blinked, jaw clenched, and let her go as if she burned his hands.Interesting. I looked at Marco, hoping he had seen what I had just seen, but he only looked concerned—concerned for the two-timing bitch cheating on him

ArabellaHis eyes darkened as he watched me take off my dress, until I was naked in front of him.I stood at the foot of the bed watching him, hesitant. He tapped the space beside him. “Come here…”My lips quivered, and I averted my eyes.“And look alive while at it. Look like you’re enjoying this,” he snapped.I nodded. I slowly walked up to him and got on the bed.He growled in approval when I got closer, before his hands shot forward and grabbed a fistful of my hair, pulling my head back so my neck was exposed to him.I whimpered in pain, but he didn’t release his grip. Instead, he inched closer and kissed my neck—softly at first—and then he suckled hard on the skin there. He bit me hard, and when I winced in pain, he kissed me there, as if he was soothing it. He repeated the same motion, and when he finally pulled away, that area was bruised. From the twisted smile on his face, I knew this was what he wanted. He wanted to leave hickeys where it was visible—where Six could see.His
