Morgana’s POV

I stood in front of the pack, heart pounding. Their eyes bored me, full of doubt and fear. Fucking Dran destroyed some houses by burning them, and I could feel the weight of their anger pressing down.

We will have the ceremony tonight for our fallen pack members. Tomorrow, I will start leading this pack as rightful Luna.

"You have no right," someone called out. "The pack chooses its leader. Beta Alexander warned us about you."

"What? I was a victim too. As Luna, I..." I protested,

  • SAVAGE ALPHA KING AND THE FATED SERVANT   Danger

Magnus’s POVI got out of the shower to see her body sprawled on the bed. Her naked body is so beautiful.Undeveloped, I chuckled, she got insecure when Raina insulted her.Adira was not only innocent and pure but also beautiful; her hair had grown even longer since the burn.It was down her back, well, now it was spread all over the bed. I had to control myself not to get back in bed and take her again.I kept her up most of the night. She finally got more comfortable with what she wants and tries so hard to please me. I love her for that. Glad I didn’t go savage on her. A few times, it got rough, but I caught myself.Mate, Han said. Kiss her.Han, why are you interfering with my thoughts?I miss Tala. You’re right, she hasn’t come out...there was no danger. I promise I will start digging more. We need to find out what is happening.I touched her back softly with my lips, and she moaned, then turned. Tala came out. Our wrists were bound, the light blue wires connecting us.Danger, Ta

Tomorrow, I will start leading this pack as rightful Luna."You have no right," someone called out. "The pack chooses its leader. Beta Alexander warned us about you.""What? I was a victim too. As Luna, I..." I protested, my voice trembling, hope and despair warring in my chest."No!" several voices shouted. A chill raced down my spine; I was scared. That moron told them something, I thought, heart dropping at their rejection."We'll vote on a new leader tomorrow. Beta Alexander says the rightful princess is coming. You're nothing. We're moving your stuff to the edge—our houses."'Princess' hit me harder than expected. My breath caught in my throat, panic clashing with disbelief. Did they mean me? No, of course

  • SAVAGE ALPHA KING AND THE FATED SERVANT   Tell her the truth

Adira’s POVThe car stopped in front of the pack house, and I ran straight to the bedroom.Magnus was pacing inside. He pulled me into his arms and breathed me in."Adira," he whispered, "we need to talk.""Yeah, we do. I want the truth, Magnus. Don’t hold back."Han chuckled. "Tell her the truth.""Raina was my girlfriend two years before Ronda. We met at a pack gathering. At first, we just talked, but she made me laugh like no one else. She was smart, bold, and always took charge. We were close, spending every day together and planning our future. She was supposed to be my Luna. I really thought she was the one, so when it ended, it hurt more than I expected."I could feel his anger now."What did she do?""She cheated on me with my best friend for months. I caught them together in bed. The worst part..."I waited and held his hand. "You can tell me anything. I won’t judge you."He took a deep breath. "I was gentle with her, she told him..." I covered his mouth.I kissed him deeply.

  • SAVAGE ALPHA KING AND THE FATED SERVANT   Raina

Adira’s POVGilda pulled me into the jewelry store. I kept saying it wasn’t needed, but she insisted a queen should have lots of expensive jewelry. With every step, my stomach tightened. The sparkling displays didn’t feel like they were for me. They felt like armor I never wanted, a costume Gilda wanted me to wear so no one would question if I belonged. Resentment prickled under my skin. Why did I have to prove myself with diamonds and gold? What if everyone could see right through me anyway? I tried to hide my nerves, but each piece felt heavier than the last. The salesman brought out pieces that made my jaw drop. I had never seen so many diamonds and rubies before. She chose six huge pieces for me.Gilda, I started, and she held a hand up.You’ll have to act like the Luna and the queen you are for the pack, she said. If they sense weakness, they’ll eat you alive. Here, showing doubt or hesitation is seen as weakness. If you stumble, question yourself, or let your emotions show, word

  • SAVAGE ALPHA KING AND THE FATED SERVANT   I'm having a panic attack

Adira’s POVGilda was all smiles. "Come on, Adira," she said. "It's time to go shopping.""Wait, Mom," Magnus said. "I'm sending two guards with her.""What? Why? I already have two guards with us," she replied."Okay, just one—her personal guard," he said, smiling at me. "Brent."I love Brent, I thought. Magnus is so smart. He trusts Brent more than anyone now because Brent helped him rescue me from the rogues."Okay, fine," Gilda finally said. "I will be in the car."Magnus kissed me deeply. "Behave yourself," he joked. "I’m not happy about this at all. I’m not going to lie, Adira, I’m having a panic attack."I laughed. "The big bad wolf? Should I text you every half hour?""Deal," he said, smiling. "Do I sound like a possessive asshole?""No, you just care about my safety," I said. I kissed him softly, and he growled."Okay, go now," he said, giving me a playful slap on the ass."Hmm, I like that," I said as I ran out the door. I heard him laugh behind me. He laughs more now, and hi

  • SAVAGE ALPHA KING AND THE FATED SERVANT   I will sign it

Adira’s POVMagnus put me down, I told him, as we approached the pack house. He placed me on my feet and kissed me deeply; he didn’t care that the pack was watching.I turned instant red at the disparaging glares I saw behind him. Shame prickled along my skin. Their cold eyes were knives, reminding me I didn't belong here, not really.A lump formed in my throat, and I focused on my shoes, desperate to keep my chin up. What were they thinking? Did they believe I wasn’t good enough for him? Heat burned my cheeks even hotter as I wondered if I could ever fit into this world, or if I would always be the outsider they saw in me.Magnus stopped and turned to face me. "Look at me," he said gently. "I don’t care what they think." His eyes held a fierce determination, but there was a flicker of worry too. He was trying to be so brave for me, putting on a strong front in front of everyone. Still, I could see the strain behind his smile. I knew he was caught between his loyalty to his family and
