Pearl, you want to turn my son against me, right? Let's see how it will end.

I had a private chat with my son as Pearl ran after Kieran when he left the kitchen.

“Manuel, Mum has been terrible to you. Please forgive Mummy". As I said so, my son laughed out loud.

“Shush, Manuel, don't ruin my plans. She might hear your laughter". I said to my son who muffled his laughter at once.

“Mum, I am a good actor right?". My son asked, expecting me to praise him.

“You are an amazing actor my son. You managed to make her believe that you are on her side and you care about her".

“Yes, I wanted to make you proud of me".

“Son, I am sorry that I am involving you in this dangerous game. My hands are tied". I said to Manuel who smiled at me in return.

“Mum, don't worry, I got this. I will definitely make her believe what you want her to believe”. My son said firmly and I hugged him.
