Alexander's POV.

Leaving the mansion, I headed for the company without letting Liam come with me. I was just one Alpha that would appreciate leaving or walking alone.

Just as I kept driving, making my way to the company, I couldn't help but think about one person, and that was Jayden, Summer's son.

"You said you wouldn't look back at them! Get him out of your head, Alex! Get him out." I shook my head, trying to dispel the thought of Jayden that lingered in my head.

After all, Summer had used her own lips to push me away, probably because I kept acting all nice and calm towards her.

It wasn't fair, and it was totally rude of her, but no matter what, I was going to try my best to keep my distance from her.

"That's the best thing to do: keep my distance from Summer! She doesn't want you! She doesn't like the sacrifices you've made for her, and even worse, she doesn't act like she's your mate!" I mumbled to myself, my grip on the steering of my car tightening as I made a right turn.
