As soon as Colt turned to face Lilith, he blurted out, "What did you say?"
Colt was certain he had heard it correctly, loud and clear. He knew for a fact Lilith had said such words. However, Lilith was also taken aback when she heard what Colt had just stated. Colt had abruptly questioned her, something she didn't understand.
Lilith was perplexed and replied, "Umh... What are you asking, Colt?"
"Ah, nothing. Let's eat," Colt grumbled, oblivious to the situation.
He also noticed Lilith's lack of awareness of what she'd stated. Colt deduced from Lilith's reaction that she was unaware that she had spoken publicly about her own feelings previously. Colt, on the other hand, decided to ignore it because he didn't want to be distracted.
