I was dressed and taken to the prince in the field .
But which kind of prince takes his bride to the field? I thought.
I slapped myself at the thought, he might be playing pranks with me when he said bride, but the question is why did he ask the maids to dress me up? I thought to myself .
"My lady why are standing there"? a maid asked when she noticed I stopped on my tracks .
I did not know I stopped walking , and this was all because I was lost in thought.
I fastened my pace and quickly catched up with them, I don't want to offend anyone during my stay here , not even the royals!
We finally got to the field , I saw the prince,Immediately he faced us I quickly bow my head , the main reason of doing this is because I don't want to get lost in those blue eyes again.
"Leave us" I heard him say.
All the maids left us almost immediately.I looked back , but could not find any traces of them again.
So it's true that they have speed .
A wow escaped my lips, I almost slapped myself for it .
"Are you so scared of me that you can't even look at my face?" I heard his magnetic voice and yet cold .
"The less privileged are not allowed to or should I say humans are not permitted to look at you face to face" I said,
The first thing he did was chuckle.
What's funny ? I asked myself after I heard him chuckle.
"And who told you that you are less privileged?" he asked .
And even without waiting for me to talk he continued
"Besides I'm going to mark you in the next few hours , I don't think you'll be human by then" he said
Hearing this , I froze.
What is he trying to say???
"Hu...mm, " I gulped not knowing how to compose a sentence, I don't want to sound rude .
"Are you going to kill me? bite me? turn me into a vampire? I asked scared already.
I've tried not to show any weakness but gosh, who wouldn't be scared and to my utter dismay he answered.
"Yes, more like it " he said .
He started walking, I stood there rooted on the floor, he faced me and this time I looked at him in the eyes .
He walked back, I could not longer control my tears, it fell freely.
Fate is so cruel, so I'm still going to be killed ???
