Prince Williams POV

If I had not left the room, I'd have scared her , but by the way....

Why is she staring that way?

And she looks like a scared kitten, I laughed shortly.

Damien coughed behind me, I was startled but refused to show it, I guess it's been long since I last laughed .

I touched my cheeks, wow never knew laughter would touch this cheeks ever again, I thought and smiled again.

"You good for nothing brat, your brother sent Zain on an errand and you have the guts to give instructions that none of them must attend to anyone but you and the king" my angry mother spat, 

My smile froze immediately, I guess I've tried my best in making this woman see that I need her and her love, as if now to hell with everything!

*Not only me and father , but to my wife to be also. dear mother" I smirked .

She was shocked , I've never spoken to her that way before, before she could retaliate,

"The weather here isn't good for the queen, she should retire to her room now" I added 

I stood up and bowed, I took a step forward and then another till I got to her , I stood beside her and whispered

"I'm not scared of you nor my brother, don't step on my toes your majesty" I said and walked away.

I have to protect myself and what's mine, and to be able to achieve this, I have to brazen up , and fight for what's mine .

They've competed with me for everything all over the years, yet I looked at them doing nothing,

I allowed myself live in depression and sadness since I was small, I won't allow that any longer !

I walked to my room dismissing Damien .

I held the door knob contemplating whether I should open the door or not.

I was about opening it when a guard rushed to me.

"The king's demands for your presence in the court" he said.

I followed him immediately, I entered the court and met some elders , mother was sitting as well, I sat down beside father and Fred came in shortly .

The king cleared his throat and spoke .

It was about qata another country who's wants war with our country all because of the boarder .

" Let's send a spy to check them out and what they're going to be using ,as well as their weakness" prince Fred said.

All the elders nodded , the king looked at me with expectant eyes.

He almost said okay before I spoke.

"Sending a spy will only weaken our armies , because from there they might work against us, why shouldn't we get one of their own as our spy, that way their armies would be divided" I said at last.

"And also I could remember you taught us father , that loyalty, courage and unity can conquer thousands of soldiers" I added and then continued 

"Once unity is lost and loyalty is lost too, we will win and inherit what's rightfully ours" I rounded up.

Everyone looked at me , obviously they were shocked .

" I support" an elder said.

I do too says another .

I looked at my brother and my mother who were seething with anger , I smiled at them and turned to my father ......

He had a smile on his face, he gave me thumbs up.

"I approve of prince Williams strategy " the king said and the meeting was dismissed.

"I'm proud of you" my father said before walking out
