Find a bride

Prince Williams POV

I came back from my father's room looking determined, 

" You can do this, don't make me regret this decision" my father's words replayed in my head.

I smiled as I entered my room, soon Damien came rushing in.

He had papers with him.

it meant only one thing .....

He got the information already. fantastic!

I urged him to bring it forward for checking.

My eyes turned dark as I saw the contents .

"They want to sell her off"?? I asked 

" Yes sire " he answered.

"Wow" I muttered....

The girl has a father, the most intriguing thing is her stepmother was once a slave in the house, her mother's death needs to be looked into, something is fishy there.

But first I'll get her .

"I'll get back to you later" I said and dismissed Damien .

"Sire, the king wants all the royal house and elders dine together tonight" my father's personal guard delivered.

I simply nodded.

This princy title is now being boring to me , sire wants you , he does this and that......

Damn I'm tired.

It's gonna be a long night.

I went to the field to practice with my sword.

It's time to brazen up, I've always lived in my brother's shadow, I've always stepped down . I'm not taking that bullshit again!

I took a warrior stance  like any good warrior would do....

I started practicing again but this time harder than before.....

" I see the supposed crown prince is practicing real hard to secure his position" my twin brother's annoying voice was heard.

I ignored him and continued my session.

" Not to worry, I'll succeed you when you die" he muttered.

"Let me see you try" I snare back at him.

I guess he was so annoyed with my absolute lack of fear and launched a punch towards my face.

I blocked him with my palm.

Wait a minute

Did I actually blocked this with my palm???  no one could withstand Fred's punch nor kick.....

How am I able to do this??

He was shocked as well.

I practically ran out of the field, confused as hell

Later In the evening.

Everyone gathered around the table. as well as the elders.

I refused to meet the deadly glare my mother who have been glaring at me since I have being seated in the dinning hall.

"We all called this dinner to celebrate the crown prince, and also to announce something" it was my father who spoke.

After nodding his head an elder took over.

" We would like to announce this to the prince and the crown prince choose their bride themselves  in the next  two days or we shall arrange one for them" the elder said.

"What???" I shrieked .....

This is getting out of hand , like seriously?

Who looks for bride in two days ??

"Select one for me " it was Fred who spoke.

They all turned to me waiting for my answer .

Sophie.... that name rang in my head .

Perfect!

Just perfect.

"I'll find one myself "I said and everyone dined .

"Damien" I called the moment I stepped into my room.

he came rushing in.

" Go get her tomorrow" I ordered.

He stared at me for a long while.....

He's obviously surprised at what I said .

He nodded and left anyways.

I wouldn't blame him, I've never cared about anything since the incident of .......

My phone beeped distracting me from my thoughts .

It was Alex, my close friend who knows my in and out, I guess the news of me given the crown prince title has gotten to him already.

I deliberated on picking, before I could conclude the beeping stopped .
