Bad timing

Joanna's POV;

I didn't need to be told that I was yet again dreaming in the midst of war. Moreover, why do my dreams always have to be wet dreams I knew would never be fulfilled.

Was Sebastian sweet? Definitely not.

Was Elias sweet? I really didn't know.

Was Alasdair sweet? Yes, but then, why was it that my dream wasn't about him?

Everytime I closed my eyes to sleep, I was always ending up in Dreamland. Have I been cursed? I didn't know but then, I recalled something and I hoped at this point, whatever it was that was going to happen in my dreams, my mother shouldn't be watching. Now that she had made herself known beside me, she didn't need to keep watching me in my dreams.

After several failed attempts of trying to wake myself and leave Dreamland, I gave up on this idea and rather focused on the situation at hand. How did I even fall asleep in the first place?
