Preparation

Upon waking up, Joanna realized she had fallen asleep right in the living room just as Elias had spoken.

"What was that? Please don't tell me you fell asleep while he was talking?" Aric groaned, trying to restrain his laughter but it was fruitless.

"Hm, de.. definitely not. I just had something to think of. For how long was I out?" Joanna awkwardly questioned, hoping to change the topic as soon as possible.

"Sure, no one here is a fool. We were all able to tell you fell asleep for what...? Slept for a total of 15 minutes. I mean, who does that?" Aric continued to sass when Joanna had to keep her mouth shut despite ber shock.

She couldn't help but wonder how she was able to have that type of dream in this situation making her seem like she was deranged and had no conscience.
