The past

Unknown POV:

Upon listening to what the white haired lady said, Alasdair, Micah and Mark all exchanged glances, their eyes widening in surprise.

Of course, they knew whom that voice belonged to but they didn't just expect the lady they had saved to hear it. There had been some hidden secrets in their pack which never got out.

Among them all, Alasdair was the most surprised one. As the Alpha of the second largest pack in the country, he also didn't see that coming.

"Who are you?" The question slipped out of his mouth before he could stop it.

The soft gasps of Micah and Mark could be heard but Alasdair paid them no heed as he was more concerned about the white haired lady who caught his attention.

Joanna pretended not to hear his question. She seemed to have figured out that she wasn't supposed to hear that voice and now, she was going to be tagged as a weird person once again.
