Chapter 255

Amelia blinked her eyes severally to be sure that she wasn’t having a mere hallucination. Alexander on the other hand walked over to her and touched her cheeks to ensure that she was real. Even if he had wished to meet her soon, he never thought or imagined that it would be in such an unplanned situation.

“Amelia?” He said in a voice that sounded like a whisper, blinking off the tears that welled up in his eyes.

The past couple of months was so much to handle and for a minute, he had thought that he lost Amelia forever already.

Amelia gulped down hard as the different memories of Alexander started playing out in her head.

“You…you were the person who helped me with the money?” She asked, with tears dripping out of her eyes and falling to the ground.

Alexander didn’t have an answer to that. All he wanted was to feel her head on his chest. At this, he pulled her into a very warm hug and inhaled every part of her body.
