Alexander’s Pov

My men came into my room later that evening, with a big frown on their faces.

I jerked up the moment they walked in, wondering why they wore a very dull look on their faces.

“What is going on? Did you find her whereabouts?” I quickly asked, trying to steady my heart that was beating out of my chest.

They stared at each other after which one of them shook his head negatively.

“She is not at Grey’s mansion anymore. From what we gathered, Noah took her away and their whereabouts are unknown”, he explained and for a minute, I thought that I’ve heard wrongly.

“What?” I screamed and made to get on my feet but they kept me down with a worried look.

“You are not fit to walk around yet. Please get some rest and we would handle this”, they tried to persuade me but none of their words made sense in my ears.

My heart was broken to tiny bits and there was nothing to do. My body ached severely and I groaned the minute I tried to raise my legs.
