Alexander’s Pov

I groaned as I stood to my feet, wincing in pain when I felt a crack somewhere at my back. I was getting better and could move around, but I still felt down.

The door opened and a nurse walked into the room, wearing a frown and making to lead me back to the bed.

“You should go back to bed sir. It’s not ideal for you to walk around in this manner”, the nurse declared, holding my hands and making to lead me to the bed.
