He stormed out of the room, his anger palpable. I stood there, rooted to the spot, watching the door as it swung closed behind him.That fool. He had no idea who he was dealing with. Once he was out of sight, I scanned the room to make sure no one else was watching. Then, I slipped into the shadows and made my way to the back of the house. I knew exactly what I had to do.
