CHAPTER XI

Levon was still in a daze after her encounter with Blair. He wasn't happy when she mentioned she wanted them to end things. He wasn't willing to lose her, that is what his words implied. Did that mean he was here for the long game? The thought warmed her heart.

Her thoughts and procrastination was cut short when the door to her room flew open.

"Jesus Von! You are such a mess." Whitney emerged inside.

Much as her family was back a few minutes back, the only person who could just barge into her room was Whitney.

"We really do need to revise the knocking policy." Levon scowled. Whitney rolled her eyes. They had gone that over and over for years but it never worked.

"What are you doing here?" Levon asked slightly annoyed.

"I am your best friend, remember? And your dad called and told me you were acting up. I needed to see that for myself and it wasn't like you were picking up my calls or replying my messages."
