I collapsed onto Aziel’s bed. It had been hours of shopping with Kade. And I had little to show for it. Kade, on the other hand, had more bags than we could fit into the trunk of the car. We ended up stacking them in the back seat of his car. It was pure insanity that someone could need that many clothes. Then, after it was all over, I decided to move into Aziel’s room. Which took me even more time, even with the little I did have, because his room was such a neat freak disaster, and I didn’t know how to fit into it. At one point, I just gave up and threw my stuff into the corner of his closet.

Hearing the door open, I looked up as Aziel entered. He gave me an assessing look.

“Went shopping with Kade?” There was a laugh in his voice. Pushing my head into the bed, I screamed. “Never going to do that again, huh?”
