The word was strange to Lupita. What she was was far from Luna. Wasn't she the most hated slave in Night Meadow Pack? It baffled her how things changed overnight.

Yesterday night, she crawled in search of leftover food to eat while she got mocked by other members of the pack. The same night, Alpha Romulus rejected his destined mate and marked her as his mate instead.

It was confusing. Alpha Romulus had brought her to his pack so she could be tortured. Why did he change overnight? Did he change or was this another trick of his? Lupita wondered.

Lupita looked in the mirror before her and smiled. "Your hairstyling skills are awesome." She took a few seconds to admire the hair that the petite maid had styled for her. "It's beautiful."

The maid beamed. "Luna, do you want me to do any other thing for you?"
