The Traitor

Jeremy’s POV

I flung my eyes open immediately I heard the noise. I stood up to find out that it was a phone ringing. I turned to find out that it was my phone. I was surprised to find out that it was unscathed after what I had been through.

“Hello”

“Hello Jeremy, it’s me Dean.”

Sean was a friend of mine but he wasn’t close. We were more on the surface than friends. What I foun6 surprising was why he was calling me.

“Hello?” I couldn’t hear a thing. It turns out that, the phone was actually bad. So I had to make use if the phone I saw in the house.

“Hello Dean, tell me what happened” I said.

“Jeremy, I know this would come as a surprise to you. I have been trying your number for weeks now. What happened?” he asked.

“I don’t know if I should tell you this.” I paused a bit and told him everything.

“Wow, that’s a lot to take in. I guess by now, your parents would be worried sick, looking for you” he said.
