Chapter 17: When The Day Is Done

“Knock”
I feel the tension in the air when all of us stare at the door. Exchanging glances with me after a few moments, Alpha Erickson turns his attention to the screen that shows the area in front of the door. Seeing Omega Jonathan, and that he is badly wounded, he rushes to the door and punches in the 4-digit number before it opens. As soon as it does, Erickson steps forward and grabs a hold of him before pulling him in.
When he pulls him in, and sits him down on the nearest chair, I look him up and down and realize that he is in shock and must have a head wound, because I see only one other injury and that is to his side. A small wound, but if it isn’t cleaned, it will quickly become infected and earn him a one-way trip to the clinic. After all, we heal fast, but not that fast and somethings we don’t come back from.
