Stretching as I stand up, I yawn and hear my jaw pop before I open my eyes to see Dominic staring at me. I didn’t even sense him in the room, but he is still standing there waiting for me. “Are you awake now?” He asks with an amused look on his face before walking towards me and smirking.
I stare at him and ask in a challenging voice, “Yes. Of course. Why? Are you going to use me as bait again?”
Then I laugh before continuing, “Did you ever figure out what that is out there? It was hanging in the shadows, so I never spotted it before it came right at me. The whole thing was a blur when you pulled me inside.” I place my hands on my hips before staring impatiently towards him.

As I sleep for the night very comfortably, there is a few times I wake up suddenly when I hear a noise, or something feels slightly off.
