Chapter 19

BRADEN

 I am so mad with Wilson not because of what he did to Pepper but the how he touches Allison.  For goddess shakes she's my mate. I know that she hates me from now on but I am so jealous. 

I was hurt when I saw Allison was whipped by the silver for saving Wilson, are they that close?

"What if she falls in love with him, Wilson is a great guy, compared to Jaxon and him," I mumbled in thin air. I am currently in my office drinking rum.

"Man, what happened to you?" I heard Jaxon's voice behind me. I looked at him and saw the disappointment on his face. "He hurt Pepper, everyone knows that Pepper was my chosen luna," I told him. "He disrespected her," I added and continue drinking.

"But whipping by silver was too much, Braden," Jade interjected. "He deserved that," I replied. 'for touching my Allison' I mumbled in my head.

"What do you think will Allison feel, she even shields herself to protect Wilson," Jaxon said.

"I don't care about them," I scoffed.  "I don't know what you're trying to do Alpha, but if you don't want Allison to be your mate because she's human, you'd better reject her so she could move on for her life, and find the love she deserves," he added. My blood boiled from what I heard.

"What did you just say?" I growled in my Alpha tone. Jade and Jaxon flinched from the surge of power in my voice. The Beta couple bowed their heads and submit their neck to my command. 

"I am sorry, Alpha but Allison is also our friend, it hurts us to see that she was hurting because of you," Jaxon said.

I grab his collar and pinned him to the wall. I saw how Jade's eyes went wide from what I did. 

"I know what I am doing Beta," I told him.  Jaxon was struggling with breathing and his face is now turning red as I held his neck tightly. My mind was flooded with thoughts of Allison with another man aside from me. All I can see is red, and bloodshot in my eyes.

"Braden, Ohh my God, you're killing my mate," Jade's voice awakened me.

When I looked at Jaxon, almost out of breath, I immediately loosen my hand from his neck.

I moved away from him while looking at my hands. I almost killed my beta, my best friend.

"I am sorry," I told Jaxon and Jade with wide eyes. She immediately ran towards Jaxon who was catching his breath, while coughing heavily. I immediately run out of my office.

I felt so guilty about what I did to my friends, Jaxon and Wilson are my best friends since we were kids. I went out of the packhouse, then I saw my mate with my gamma they were both laughing at each other. My face frowned when I saw Wilson, feeling better and healed from silver. Wounds from silver take weeks to be healed but what just happened? It seems like nothing happened to him. Allison and Wilson were walking toward the infirmary. I want to Allison. I saw how she protected Wilson earlier and it hurt me that my mate was hurting because of me. 

'That was your choice, so live with it, just make sure that our mate will not leave us," Atticus said. I sighed and turn my back to them. She will be fine for now, if no one knows that I am mated to her, she will be safe. 

WILSON

"I am fine now, Luna," I told Allison, she was worried so much. "I can't help but worry, I know my blood was effective but seeing you almost halfdead earlier was freaking," she replied. I chuckled. 

"Thanks to you," I sincerely said. "You saved my life for the second time again," I told her. She smiled. "That's what are friends for, you're not just my Gamma, I mean the gamma of this pack but also a good friend, a brother to me," she said. 

I smiled at the thought. Allison is really sweet and beautiful, Braden was a jerk for hurting her. But I remembered the jealousy in his voice earlier. He still cares for his mate. 

I looked at Allison, and she laughed but I know she was broken inside. She's too kind to be treated like this. 

" I am still your gamma, Luna, my loyalty is for you," I told her. " If Braden can't accept that, I rather strip off my title than follow his chosen luna," I added.

"Don't ever do that, Wil, he was your friend before his gamma," She replied. "Whatever she did to me, your out with it," she added.

"Never turn your back from your alpha nor to your pack because of me," she sadly said. 

I took a deep sigh. She's selfless, what a great luna.

"By the way, I want to tell you something,' she mind linking me. My face frowned, why does she have to do that? When our eyes met, I saw seriousness. 

"What about it, Luna," I replied. Then we started to walk away from the crowd. "I felt Braden's presence earlier so I need to talk to you through mind link," she replied. I nodded my head t her and then roamed my eyes. I saw Braden's back walking on the other side of the pack. Did he see us earlier? I am doomed again, we're friends but when it comes to his mate, his that possessive.

"I followed Braden earlier before he punished you," she said. I looked at her with confusion. "And I let him see Masha, my wolf," she added. My eye went wide. 

"He was on the south border of the pack and do killing spree," she replied. "He killed three rogues and what matters to me was, they knew about me," she said through the mind link.'

"What do you mean?" I asked. "They saw us when I command Camilla and Calix to shift to their human form," she said, And Braden heard it. He tried to ask those rogues but they refused to tell him," she added. 

"So, what can I help you, Luna?" I asked her. "I need to talk to Camilla and Caliz," she replied and looked at me.

"But you said that they can track you?" I asked again. She nodded her head. 

"I need to talk to them outside the pack, without Braden's knowledge," she said. "I know that he will be starting to hunt the black she-wolf with fiery eyes, and he knows that we're mates," she said.

"I know a place to meet them, it's safe, don't you worry," I mind linking her.

She smiled. "Where?" she asked. I smirked.

"At my parent's house," I replied. "Their cabin was in the middle of the forest on the north part of the pack, and no one was allowed to be there, except Braden, Jaxon, Jade, and me, of course," I told her.

"It's safe there?" she asked. I nodded my head. "Yeah, your secret is safe there, mom told me to protect you, because she senses that there's something special in you," I replied.

Allison smiled at me. "Okay then, it's settled, will meet them tonight" she replied.

I nodded my head to her, we continued walking toward the infirmary to check her wounds. She doesn't want to cure it by herself because pack members or Braden might find out.
