Chapter 7

Alpha Arkin

          I am thinking if I made the right decision to let Allison stay with her mate. Alpha Braden is a young fine and strong alpha, she can protect my daughter.

But what if he will be disappointed with Allison's wolf. I've known Brandon and Amelia for a long time, we've been allies since our Luna's are best of friends. I set aside my worries. Allison is a strong woman now, I trained and thought her how to defend and fight for herself, while her mother nourishes her with knowledge and wisdom to be a Luna.

"A penny for your thoughts?" I heard my Luna's voice behind me. I look at her, she always had loving smiles on her beautiful face.

I wrap my arms around her waist. "Just thinking of something," I replied at her and sniffing her hair, her scent made me relax.

"About Allison?" she asked. I locked my eyes on her and nodded my head. I took a deep breath.

 I felt her soft hands rubbing my back. "I understand what you feel Ark, it's the first time that Allison will be away from us," she said.

"You knew that this time will come and we already prepared her for this," She added. 

I shifted my gaze towards Allison, who's happily talking with the beta couple.

"She has grown up so fast," I mumble.  I heard Stella chuckle. 

"yes and now, she's the Luna of the strongest and largest pack in the continent.

"I know that our daughter is destined for greatness, that is why  Masha was given to her," Heidi said. 

"Her path will be such a whirlwind but I know she can surpass it," she added.

"Masha will protect her," I said. Then I felt my mate's lips on my cheeks.

"I think it's time for another baby, " I whispered in her ear. I heard her giggles, playful as always.

"It's been a while, Alpha Arkin and Luna Stella," I heard a familiar voice Stella and I turned towards her, we saw a smiling Harithi with his mate.

Stella squealed and the two women hugged each other.

"Oh, Harithi! I've missed you so much," Stella said. "Same here Luna, so glad to see you again," the former gamma said. Just like Amelia, there are best of friends.

"You have a lovely daughter, she looks like you," She added. 

My mate smiles at her. 

"Where's your son, Wilson?" Stella asks. Harithi rolled her eyes. He's on patrol with the pack warriors.

Stella's eyebrows knotted.

"How he will find his mate if he's not attending this kind of event?" Stella ask.

Harithi shakes her head. "I told him the same way, but he said that his mate is not here," she said.

"You mean he can feel his mate?" Stella asks.

"I think so, Wilson said that his mate was calling his wolf," Harithi added. 

"But anyway I am here not to talk about my son," she suddenly said and look toward his mate. 

Then she looks around and grabs Arkin and my arms, we walk towards the garden.

Arkin and I look towards each other, does Harithi see something. We are aware of her gifts. 

She took a deep breath before she break the silence.

"Allison is not an ordinary wolf, when we talk earlier I felt her wolf and it scared me," she said.

We were both dumbfounded by what she said.

"What's with her wolf?" she asks.

"We don't know either, the first time she shifted we started searching about her wolf existence but we found nothing," I said.

Harithi took a deep breath. "Alpha, Luna you made the right decision on bringing her here, only his mates can protect and help her," Harithi explained.

"Mates? what do you mean?" Stella asks.

"The current alpha has a twin brother, it's a secret of this pack," she explained.

"Then where is he?" I ask. His face frowned. He was abducted the day I came here." Harithi said.

"And the Luna will be the one to find him," she added. I was confused by what Harithi said.

"I can't tell you anything from what I saw about her future but the Luna will face a rough future with her mate," she added.

    I saw the confusion from the face of the Alpha and Luna of the dark wolf pack. Stella was the daughter of the gamma of my former pack, but she was already mated with Alpha Arkin when rogues attacked our pack I just found it out when Alpha Bradon introduces us before.

I've been waiting for this moment about Allison. I knew that they were hiding something about her. The first time I laid my eyes on her I feel a strange aura in her. And when our eyes meet earlier I felt his wolf-like she was trying to talk with me.

"Don't worry about her, my mate and I will watch over her, and I will to Wilson to guard her. She was safe here," I explained to them.

Stella smiled at me. "Thank you so much, Harithi," she said.

"Her secret is safe with us," a man's voice said. Then I saw the gamma was behind Harithi now.

"I will be fine now knowing that Allison has you here, my daughter, is a fine woman, she s]can kill and defend herself, just don't let her shift." Alpha Arkin said.

My mate and I nodded our heads.

"I already told Allison about that even in front of her mate," he added.

"We understand," I replied to him.

"There you are," Luna Amelia said behind her was Alpha Brandon. The four of us smiled at the couple.

"Having a mini-reunion?" Alpha Brandon said that made us laugh.

"You know the party was for all the young wolves, so wolves like had a hard time relating to them," Stella said that made the men chuckle.

"Exactly, I am just glad that I found you all here," Amelia said.

"I still can't believe that our children are the fated mates," she added while looking to Stella.

"Me too, I thank the moon goddess that Allison agree to attend this party. " Alpha Arkin said.

"I missed the old days," Stella interjected. Those happy and young times.

"I agree," the group said and laugh together.

We continued chatting about experiences of the past while sipping our wines.

I look towards Alpha Arkin and Luna Stella when my body stiffens. My mate hold my hand secretly, he looks towards me and saw the worries in my eyes.

"I need to talk to Alpha Arkin and Luna Stella alone," I mind linking him.

"You saw something again?" he asks. 

"yes," I replied. He nodded his head at me.

I smiled at them.

'This can't be happening' I chanted in my mind. I froze and the glass slipped in my hand that caught their attention.

"Are you okay?" Luna Amelia asked. I smile at her and nodded my head. "It seems that the alcohol got into my head." I lied to them.

"I felt a little dizzy, then I felt my mate's arm in my waist, he helps me to sit down.

"What happened?"Luna Stella asks and holds my hand. "Just a bit dizzy, you know I am not used to the alcohol," I answered her. 

"I'll just get you cold water, "Luna Amelia said. "Thank you, Luna," I told her then she grab Alpha Brandon and they walk inside the packhouse. 

Luna Stella just rub my back, I hugged her tight, which made her stunned. Then tears began to fall from my eyes.

Luna Stella confusedly looks at me.  "I saw something," I told her. Alpha Arkin frowned at what I said.

"What was it?" Alpha Arkin asks. I look towards my mate and he nodded his head. 

"It's not true that I was dizzy because of the alcohol," I said.

"I just made it to let Brandon and Amelia leave us," I added.

"Why? they are your alpha and luna," Luna Stella said. I cleared my throat and looked at them.

"My vision was all about you and your pack, " I told them, I shifted my gaze to Alpha Arkin and Luna Stella.

"What do you mean, Harithi?" Alpha Arkin asks.

I took a deep breath.

"I saw the two of you and your pack perished," I told them like a whisper.

Alpha Arkin and Luna Stella look at each other, fear and worries in their eyes are evident.

Alpha Arkin hugged Luna Stella. "Alpha, Luna we can stop it, you have to prepare your pack," I told them, my voice cracked.

These two lovely couples are a family to me, Luna Stella is a good friend of mine. I can't accept that she will be killed.

"You knew that we can't stop what fate decides for us," Luna Stella said and smiled at me.

"Arkin and I had a wonderful journey together," she said while looking lovingly with her mate.

"If the moon goddess decided for us to leave this life, I'll be okay, we will be fine. Allison had these pack as her new family now," she added. Then tears formed in her eyes. Alpha Arkin just hugged her tight. 

"Harithi, just promise me that you watch over Allison and treat her like she's yours. You're the only one that I trust," she explained.

I sadly looked at them. 

"I will protect her, we will protect her," I told them.

"Thank you," Luna Stella said. 

"Don't tell Alison about this," she added.  I looked at her confused.

"Her wolf is different from ours, she can't able to control her if she goes rampant, she may annihilate half of this pack," Alpha Arkin said.

I was stunned by what he said. I knew that Allison's wolf is special but I didn't know that she was powerful.
