Jake’s POV“Sure. I don’t see why not.”Glancing towards Tori’s bedroom window do I now notice how late it was getting. From the moment we had arrived too Lilyanna’s sudden arrival was I now able to see just how late it was getting. As the sun was beginning to set, which in turn, made the sky turn to dusk.“Come. Jake’s POVWhen continuing to hold Tori’s gaze with my own do I manage to catch a glimpse of Rune within his beautiful amber color eyes. His eyes a smidge darker and with tiny specks of orange. Rune clearly wanting to take over but knew better than to do it. Not unless Tori was in absolute danger, only then would Rune be able to take over.Sighing, I move to speak up. “Look Tori, I know your scared and I know what Lilyanna said frightened you. But we all know she’s a liar as well. And no one is going to kick you from the pack, because I am the new Alpha. Maybe not officially yet, but I have the final say on who comes and goes and you little mate, are not going anywhere.”Watching Tori begin to relax by my words do I move to set down his duffle bag. Only doing it once positive that he wouldn’t instantly bolt from the room as Zak and Alex both move to approach us.Alex now flanking my left side while Zak flanked my right. Zak’s POVThe moment I move to leave the room do I instantly here Lilyanna move to speak up. As if waiting for that golden opportunity. “Actually Jake.
