Yinka pursed her lips; looking down at her script, her eyes digging through the paper in shame. The teacher gave her a look of disappointment before walking to the next seat. Janet adjusted in her seat, sighing for the tenth time since the class had started. She felt uneasy, well; this was because Derek had been absent for about three days and counting.She hadn't seen him and was very worried.What made her that way was the fact that his 'crew' actually showed up at school but he didn't. I almost kissed her.Derek wondered in his mind as the realization began to kick in, he had almost kissed Janet.
