Janet leaned into his arms, laying her head on his shoulders as she inhaled his scent. She loved how he scooped her up, not to mention the fact that she was still straddled on his lap like a baby. Janet found herself snuggling deeper into him, her heart going at a thousand miles per hour.

What Kareem had said to Janet didn't leave her mind, she still got chills just from thinking about it. As much as she tried to decipher the words, she knew that she wouldn't be able to. Derek looked almost lifeless on the ground, his shirt now soaked; Janet could see the red liquid begin to drip down to Daniel's tiles. Her eyes widened at the sight, she felt goosebumps on her skin, her stomach crunched at the way his blood leaked out of him. Obinna and Ope hastily got up from the floor, pushing Janet away as they rushed towards him."Guy! What the hell?!" Obinna shrieked, immediately lifting his shirt up.
