What Kareem had said to Janet didn't leave her mind, she still got chills just from thinking about it. As much as she tried to decipher the words, she knew that she wouldn't be able to. Who were the so called dangerous guys keeping an eye on him? Was Derek in trouble and he didn't even know it? She grew more worried as she dug deeper into her mind.

Derek looked almost lifeless on the ground, his shirt now soaked; Janet could see the red liquid begin to drip down to Daniel's tiles. Her eyes widened at the sight, she felt goosebumps on her skin, her stomach crunched at the way his blood leaked out of him. Obinna and Ope hastily got up from the floor, pushing Janet away as they rushed towards him."Guy! What the hell?!" Obinna shrieked, immediately lifting his shirt up. The day had finally come - or rather the dreaded week. Midterm examinations. The week students actually picked up their books, cramming their life's out. Janet would have been frantically cramming as well, even though she had read.
