√4: Caught red handed.

This wasn't like any other private gives she had looked out for, no, if not-- they wouldn't have been practically flying the stairs to escape the wrath of their very fuming physics teacher, Mrs. Kehinde. What made the whole situation a whole lot worse was that this woman knew Janet's mother first handedly. Yes, she was royally screwed.

But in Janet's defense, she only got distracted because she had spotted Derek. Not only that, but he spotted her too, with a boy, on the wall, it looked like they were almost kissing. Over her dead body would she kiss that twat! Gbenga.

Gbenga was the person Subomi asked to watch out, like he didn't trust Janet enough! He was all sorts of bold to the girls in her set, commercial, art and science, he had no preference, as long as the girl had big breasts and ass, he flirted away. In SS3C, as one of the most admired boys, both by juniors and his mate, Gbenga could care less. It seemed like he only needed one thing in his life.

Sense.

"I hope you don't mind, sha." Subomi chuckled, referring to the boy leaning against the wall with a sly smirk across his face. Yes, that boy was the woman-wrapper A.K.A playboy Gbenga.

"Why would she? I say it's better." Ada interrupted, like really Ada, really?

"Yada, yada, yada. I thought you guys were meant to be going down on each other." There was one other thing girls admired about Gbenga, his speech was that of the Queen's English. Proper. Even when he spoke with his guys, although his voice became hoarse making him match up to their tone.

Ada giggled, before lightly pushing Subomi into the lab and the last thing Janet saw was her best friend claiming the anxious boys lips like an animal. Heck, ravishing would be a better fit.

"So, Janet."

Oh, no. She really didn't want to talk with him, taking a deep breath, she looked up with a fake smile on her plump lips which Gbenga secretly wished that he would assault once or twice. With kisses that is. "So, Gbenga. You didn't have anything better to do?" That question had attacked her than him, because he just smirked and arched one of his eyebrows; almost as if they spoke and said see who's talking.

"She's my best friend, so ha!" Janet huffed at how childish she sounded, "Yeah, yeah. Maybe I just wanted to be alone with you." Well, technically, they were alone. In the big hallway, no one seemed to like climbing all the way to the last floor during prep. Except if what they had to do was a lot greater than their laziness. Did she mention that Gbenga had pushed himself off the wall, stalking towards her in a rather predator prey manner.

Creep.

Feeling uncomfortable, she pouted and knitter her thick eyebrows.

"That was cute." Was this his way of getting her all buttered up? Which game was he playing at? Staring at her like a piece of fat chicken thigh in a pot of stew.

"You mean childish." She huffed, looking away. She hated to admit it but his stare was making her nervous, not the good kind of nervous, but the uncomfortable type. Before she knew it, she was against the wall with a gasp as he cornered her. Didn't this guy know anything about personal space.

"Still... really... cute." Gbenga spoke slowly like she had become dumb in a flash, making her hiss before shoving him away. "Oga, mind yourself oh." She scoffed, folding her hands to her chest in which his gaze followed, with a grin. He even had the guts to lick his lips.

Chai, wonders shall never end.

"You didn't seem to mind when you were almost nose to nose with the jailbird."

Oh.

Word sure spreads fast, by the end of today Janet was sure that even the parents would know that a rumored jailbird student was back and worse! That the head girl went as Gbenga send, nose to nose with him. This was just exactly what she did not need! "What are you talking about?" Her only option was to play dumb, which just made Gbenga chuckle, grabbing her waist in his palm as he pulled her close to his chest. Like she said before, his own bold pass. His actions made Janet squirm uncomfortably.

"Derek. That freak."

Janet glared at him.

He smirked at her, knowing she was affected by his harsh words towards the boy that wasn't even there. "The worst part of it? He has you wrapped around his finger Janet! He went to prison, guy! Shine your eye!" Gbenga whispered into her ear as she whimpered at his word.

Why on earth was he saying it like she kissed him! She just spoke to him and people acted like it was a treason.

"I'm not wrapped around any stupid finger Gbenga! I was just being nice." She started. "Besides who you be self? My boyfriend? My hubby?... Exactly!" She concluded when he was silently glaring at her. Janet knew not many people liked Derek, heck, they could care less when he didn't come to school, she guessed that the tension when he was around was always so thick.

They couldn't break it if they tried.

"Well, well...Speak of the devil."

And he may appear.

Janet didn't want to believe what she just heard him say, what on earth would Derek be doing there? So, ever so slowly, she turned her head, a gasp escaping her lips. Behold, the six foot something boy stood with a note in his hands, looking somewhat bored of the sight before him.

"Derek." She said, coughing at how high her voice sounded in her ears.

"I came to meet a teacher." He simply explained, his voice sending chilled to her body, he looked like he would care less if he even saw Janet and Gbenga kissing. He looked rather...tired.

Before he could move another inch, Gbenga left his spot and stomped up to him, "As you can see, she's not here." That came out of Gbenga's mouth with a lot more sass than he wanted. This made Derek chuckle. Opening his mouth to say something, Janet cut him off. "It's not what you're thinking oh! We weren't doing anything." She had no idea why she cared about his thoughts of her.

"It concern me?" He asked confused, the word concern sounding a lot like con-sine. Not even sparing Gbenga a glance. Though Gbenga was tall, Derek was taller, which seemed to agitate him because he shoved Derek right in the chest.

"Gbenga, what the heck?!" She gasped, running to them, "Guy, piss off." Gbenga gritted like an animal unhinged, he tried to keep his voice down so he wouldn't alarm those two going at it like horny dogs next door. Derek hardly moved, he just rolled his eyes and scoffed. Janet grabbed Gbenga's hands harshly as she pinched them.

Did he seriously want to fight the boy he called a jailbird? That was definitely not a smart move.

Unknown to Janet and Gbenga, the physics teacher came from the opposite side of the hall, inching closer as Gbenga threw his mini tantrum at Derek who began to look pissed off.

"U-uh Derek, don't mind him..." She trailed off, causing his eyes to land on her.

"I won't."

He shrugged, their stare lingering longer than she would have hoped., because his eyes made her feel all tensed up. Janet bit her lips, holding herself from squealing at how she felt under his gaze. Using her free hand to move the dropping hair away from her face, a moment of silence engulfed the empty hallway.

"Why're you taking this guys side?"

Gbenga spat at her, but Janet was still in the trance of his gaze. It was like they were communicating through their mind, his eyes narrowing from her, staring at something behind them before looking back at her needy ones.

"Huh..." She finally let out, responding to Gbenga's rant, she sounded so dumb right now, which just made the boy beside her to grunt in annoyance.

"You guys act like a married couple, it's annoying."

Ouch.

She almost flinched at his words.

First of all, how on earth did they act married?! If anything, they acted like enemies. Is it because of the way she held his hand?

Secondly...annoying?

He thought she was annoying?

She couldn't help the frown that began to show on her face as she looked down, feeling some kind of way. It was like there was a tug in her chest, why did his words have an effect on her? She hated it. She hated how he could say one thing and just like that her entire mood would be ruined.

"Shut the heck up, no one cares." Exclaimed Gbenga as he glared.

"By the way, the physics teacher is coming." Was the only thing Derek said.

Huh!?

The physics teacher was coming?!

Those questions circled Janet's head as her and Gbenga shared the same look of horror. Jogging away from Derek and towards the door, they banged on it the signal, which seemed to alarm them too because they both heard shuffling.

"She's close, hurry!" Janet called out, hoping she wasn't that loud.

"What on earth are you students doing here?" From afar she heard the teachers voice, it was Mrs. Kehinde. The worst possible teacher that could nab them. By nab, she meant catch them red handed. Which she did.

"Run!" She heard Ada say as she and Subomi burst throw the door with their half buttoned up shirt and unzipped bottoms. "Jesus! Ehn! What rubbish are you evil children committing! Ah Janet is that you?!"

That was all it took for her to bolt out of the crime scene, not without staring at Derek for the last time before she fled. It seemed like the whole thing humored him because he had a chuckle bubbling from his lips. Subomi, Gbenga and Ada following her footsteps as they sprinted away, cursing like a drunkard. Flying over the steps like they had grown wings. To make it all worse, the woman was one of the fastest teachers, the several golden medals she had gotten from the teachers race proved it.

In all honesty? She ran like she was out for blood and they were in deep shit.

"Is she gone?" Janet huffed and puffed as all of them packed themselves into the storage room like a tin of sardine. "Guy now! How did you guys not notice her until she was close!?" Ada coughed out as she started to do her button. "It's Gbenga's fault!" Janet spat. "Sure, blame it on me rather than that jailbird." Gbenga retorted. "He didn't do anything! It's you that went to go and be forming hard guy." Janet spat back, they were going at it like a bunch of children.

"Isssokay! If you like bite each other." Subomi hissed, arranging his junk in the trunk, with an uncomfortable groan. "Abeg, no jack off here oh! You see how small this place is." Janet huffed, crossing her arms. She was pissed off, at the fact that Mrs. Kehinde had noticed her. She was screwed. One call to her mom and that was it.

The cane she would chop would be out of this world.

She could already imagine how the woman would put it, Watchman for immoral acts on school property. Oh, she'd be in a whole lot of trouble. As those three continued to argue, she just hugged herself, staring at her shoes as her mind drifted to a certain boy.

A certain boy that arrived not so long ago and he already had people on him. People like Gbenga.

"If you don't open this door! So help me God, I go break am commot!" The shriek of Mrs. Kehinde shut up their bickering as the girls gasped. Everyone stiffened at her voice, perhaps it was a dumb move to argue when they were trying to escape the teacher. It was an even bigger mistake to hide in the storage room.

They had been nabbed.

Red handed.

They were screwed.

Big time.
