SARA’S POV

We left our room when Joy came and took Lilly to bath. When we descended the stairs, we heard commotion. I got drained just thinking about what it could be. The Goddess knows I did not want trouble today.

I wanted a peaceful day where I would go and make the prince pay by taking his fingers. Come back for breakfast then rest the entire day doing nothing.

But by the gods someone did not want me to have that, and it was pissing me off. The commotion continued, Kane and I shared a look and he frowned. Yeah, I feel the same way buddy, but we must go see what is happening.

I knew he felt the same way I did, annoyed. We both wanted a peaceful day but am beginning to think that we are not meant for that. Trouble follows us everywhere.

When we got down the stairs, we saw it was Alex making all the noise arguing with the warriors for not letting him through. Where the hell did, he come from and what was he doing here?

When he saw me, he rushed past the warriors and hugged me.
