The Black Dragon Organization?

David could only sigh heavily. Seeing Luna’s attitude, which was difficult to talk to, he didn’t dare to push any further. David Smith immediately walked away, leaving Luna consumed by anger.

The next morning, Luna woke up before the morning sun appeared on the western horizon. She quickly prepared herself to leave for the office as soon as possible.

"I have to leave earlier than everyone else," she muttered to herself.

After finishing her preparations, Luna had a quick breakfast. Not long after, she grabbed her car keys.

"Luna, why are you leaving so early today? Is there an event at your office?" David Smith suddenly asked from the corner of the room.

"That’s none of your business," Luna replied curtly.

She completely ignored the useless man and left without even saying goodbye to David.

"Looks like she’s still mad at me," David muttered as he watched Luna’s back.

A while later, Luna arrived at her office exactly at six o’clock. The office was still quiet at that time.

Except for the security guard and cleaning staff, no other employees seemed to have arrived yet.

"Good morning, Miss Luna," the security guard greeted her.

"Morning," Luna replied with a slight smile.

"Strange, why is everyone arriving so early today? Is there urgent work that needs to be completed, Miss?" the security guard suddenly asked.

The question immediately startled Luna. A cold sweat broke out all over her body.

At that moment, her mind spiraled into overthinking. She was certain that everyone was already talking about her and David.

'Why is my luck so terrible? Oh God, what other trials will You give me?'

Luna thought to herself. She wanted to turn back and go home, but of course, that wasn’t an option. She had no choice but to muster the courage to face whatever was about to happen.

"Miss Luna, are you okay?" the security guard asked, confused by her silence.

"Oh, I’m fine. There’s a sudden meeting today. All employees were instructed to arrive early," Luna lied.

"Oh, that makes sense. Alright, please go ahead, Miss."

Luna responded with a smile. Taking three deep breaths, she finally stepped into the building.

Once inside, she noticed that none of the employees had gone straight to their respective workspaces. Instead, they were gathered in the front hall.

"There she is! Hi, Luna, good morning," one of the female employees greeted her as soon as she arrived.

"Luna, I’m still amazed by what happened yesterday."

"Yeah, me too. I never imagined that the famous Nelson Family would be forced to kneel at your husband’s feet."

"If only I hadn’t left early yesterday, I would’ve witnessed such an incredible event."

"You’re really lucky, Luna. Even though your husband looks so ordinary, he has an extraordinary presence."

"Who exactly is your husband?"

Hearing everyone's remarks, Luna felt overwhelmed with confusion. She didn’t know whether they were talking about something that actually happened or just making things up.

One thing was certain—this morning’s events had completely shocked her.

"Thank you for your compliments. As for who my husband is, he’s just an ordinary man," Luna answered briefly.

"Luna, stop lying. Come on, tell us who he really is," a woman in her thirties pressed her for answers.

That only fueled the curiosity of the other employees.

"That’s right, Luna. At least tell us how we can find a husband like him."

Several others chimed in with similar questions. But Luna still didn’t know what to say.

"I can’t explain it right now. But someday, I’ll tell you all. Sorry," Luna said with a smile before heading straight to her private office, ignoring everyone else.

Once inside her office, Luna was deep in thought.

She was still confused and curious. Could what everyone said really be true?

"No, that’s impossible," Luna murmured, shaking her head multiple times. "The Nelson Family isn’t just any family. They have immense power. Asking them to kneel before a poor man like David is unthinkable—let alone before the George Family."

"Ugh, whatever. When I get home, I’ll ask David directly," she muttered to herself.

Meanwhile, back at home, David was watering the flower garden in the yard.

Every day, he handled household chores—washing clothes, cleaning the house, even cooking meals.

"Phew… finally done. Now, I just need to buy ingredients for dinner," David muttered, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

Unbeknownst to David, a luxurious car suddenly stopped right in front of his house. Behind it, two other black cars followed, acting as escorts.

A man stepped out of the first car, followed by four others.

They were all tall and muscular, dressed in black suits. Every piece of clothing and accessory they wore was from well-known luxury brands.

"Boss, are you sure this is the house of the person we’re looking for?" one of them asked.

"Yes, I’m absolutely sure. This has to be it."

Just as he finished speaking, David appeared and opened the front gate.

The moment they saw him, the man called "Boss" immediately bowed in respect, followed by the four others.

"Sir, I’ve finally found you," he said with utmost reverence.

"Who are you?" David asked, eyeing each of them in turn.

"Allow me to introduce myself, Sir. My name is Daniel. I am one of the Four Guardians of the Black Dragon Organization."

The Black Dragon Organization?

David was taken aback by the man’s statement. He never expected that they were still searching for him after all this time.

"Impressive. So, you finally managed to track me down," David said with a slight smirk.

"Someone informed us that you were living in Green Hill," Daniel replied.

"Was it Jordan Nelson?"

"Yes, that’s correct, Sir."

"I knew it. He must have told you everything," David muttered, nodding to himself. Then, he looked at Daniel again.

"Why are you still looking for me?"

"We desperately need you, Sir," Daniel said earnestly.

"For what? Doesn’t the Black Dragon Organization already have a new leader?"

"That’s true," Daniel nodded. "But only you can resolve this situation. Right now, our organization is facing a major crisis."

"A crisis? What kind of crisis?"

After Luna signed the documents, David and Daniel exchanged subtle smiles and nodded to each other. They both felt relieved. One problem had finally been resolved.David was very satisfied with Daniel's performance. Apparently, this man hadn't changed a bit over the years—always reliable, he thought."Alright, thank you, Miss. In three days, I will take care of the rest. After that, you will officially become the owner of the hotel and apartment."Once again, Luna was speechless. She truly didn’t know what to say. One thing was certain—she was extremely pleased and happy. She never imagined that she would come out as the “winner.” More than that, Luna never expected she would acquire the Albert Family's core business so easily. If she hadn't witnessed it with her own eyes, no one would believe it.“Luna, why do you still look tense? Aren’t you happy?” David Smith asked.“No, it’s not that, David,” she quickly replied. “I’m actually very happy. It’s just... this feeling is hard to expl

"Is this Miss Luna George?" Instead of answering, the unknown caller responded with a question of his own."Yes, I’m Luna George," she answered honestly."Miss Luna, I’d like to ask for a bit of your time. Tomorrow afternoon, I’d like to meet you at the Eastern Star Restaurant. Second floor, table number one.""Wait a moment—who are you? Why are you asking to meet me there?""You’ll find out who I am tomorrow. What matters is, our meeting will be about the major business left behind by the Albert Family."Luna was immediately shocked upon hearing that. For a moment, she was speechless."Si-sir, are you serious?" she asked, her lips trembling slightly."I'm serious, Miss. That’s why you must come tomorrow afternoon. See you then."The call ended immediately. Luna stared at her phone for a while, still visibly confused.Could that person be trusted? Should she go to the Eastern Star Restaurant as instructed?Or should she just ignore it?"Luna, why do you look so puzzled?" David asked,

Joshua Tyson, one of the sons of the Tyson Family Head and also Laura’s husband, was immediately at a loss for words. His lips parted slightly, but no words came out.Truthfully, Joshua had no intention of obstructing Madam Agatha’s efforts. But from another perspective, it would actually be much better if the George Family didn’t participate in this ‘competition’ at all.Because that was exactly what he wanted right now.“Grandmother...” After a few moments, Joshua finally spoke. “I think I have a pretty good idea.”Madam Agatha didn’t respond. She merely raised her eyebrows and looked at Joshua.“Even though the George Family and the Tyson Family aren’t the most powerful families in Phoenix City, if these two families unite to acquire shares and some of the former Albert Family’s companies, I believe our chances will greatly increase. A combined strength like that should be able to rival a single family ranked above us,” Joshua explained.Hearing that, almost everyone nodded in agre

Because at that moment, whether by coincidence or not, Madam Agatha was glancing her way.Although the glance seemed ordinary, it was enough to make Laura feel afraid. David and Daniel were already back inside the car. They looked calm and relaxed. Despite the commotion they had caused at the Green Leaf Restaurant, neither of them felt even the slightest fear. In fact, they didn’t even bother to think about it."Sir, what should I do now?" Daniel asked, breaking the silence."Destroy a few of the Albert Family’s businesses. Don’t let them set foot in this city again.""Alright, I’ll get to it right away. I’m sure that old man will regret acting recklessly for the rest of his life.""But remember this, Daniel — I don’t want anyone else to know about what we’ve done,"David didn’t want his presence and actions to be known by others in the same circle. Not because he was afraid, but because he still wanted to enjoy his current life. That’s why he always moved in silence, so his secret wouldn’t be exposed."Don’t worry, Sir. James looked worried. He feared something undesirable might happen to his master."Are you scared, James? Since when did you turn into a coward?"The old man who claimed to be Ronald Albert swiveled his chair. A pair of sharp eyes stared intensely at James."I... I’m only concerned about your safety, Sir," James replied nervously."Tch!" Ronald Albert sneered. "Don't be so dramatic, James. Trust me, everything will be fine.""Alright. I believe you.""Good.
