1. Running Away

“Catch her, don’t let her run.”

A girl was running in front, behind her, several people in suits ran to catch her.

The girl heard those words and started to run even faster. She was having a hard time maintaining the gown and running, but she knew she would have no turning back if they caught her.

“You bast$$s, wait until I come back; if I don't kick you guys out, then I will change my name, but now…. Huff...huff, I have to run away from here, if not then…. No, You guys wait for me to come back and clean you up…… Now Bye, happy catching me.”

With that she suddenly ran towards the parked car, then the car started and went away.

The people running behind couldn’t catch up with the car,

In the car,

“Great escape,” The girl breathed and took the bottle to drink some water.

“Next stop?” the person in the driver’s seat asked.

“Nowhere, just have to leave this city in an hour if we don’t want to get caught,” The girl answered nonchalantly.

“You are not nervous?” The person asked with curiosity

“For what?” slowly taking a sip, asked that girl.

“You have escaped from the …. Okay, aren’t you afraid of them catching you again and making you do what you don’t want?” The person probed further

“Huh, what am I afraid of? First, let them catch me, then I will see what will happen” The girl was fearless.

She knows what will happen if those people catch her, but she also knows that no one can beat her in today’s plan because she java planned this for almost three months for one escape.

The other party didn’t say anything, but he tried his best to pass the city exit in an hour. He was really frightened; his nerves were tightened when he rushed through the city because he knew that there was no turning back and only a dead-end once he was caught.

Now seeing that they have passed the barrier, he feels his life is preserved.

“Thank God, I will definitely visit you to save my life and get me out of the city without getting caught” That person was praying.

“What are you muttering, Shut up and let me sleep,” The girl shouted at the man in the driver’s seat and turned towards the window to continue sleep

“Sleep, you can sleep!! Sleep sleep, how can you sleep? King Yama was dancing on our head until now, and you only know how to sleep; if we were to be caught, you might go back to that place and live, but I will lose my life, how can you? Heartless!!! Shameless!!! If not for the money, do you think I am willing to take a big risk”  The person in the driver seat muttered

“Rock, shut up. I haven’t slept for a week; yawn, let me take a rest,” the girl scolded, still closing her eyes and sleeping without changing position, still leaning on the window.

“Shut up? Okay, I will do,” the person who was called as Rock said then turned on the radio in the car.

“Breaking news, a runaway pri…….”

Before the news can be heard, a hand shut off the radio.

“Why the hell are you turning on the radio? I am sleeping, and by God let me sleep; I will pay extra for you to stop bugging me,” The girl snapped.

“Okay, okay, I will stop.” With that, Rock stopped his antics as his eyes lit up on extra money.

After four hours, they reached the small town and stopped there to find a room and continue the journey.

The girl just opened her eyes and looked outside, seeing that it was already midnight; she looked up to see they had parked in front of the big hotel.

“Come on, let’s go and book the rooms for us.” That girl just walked in but stopped after seeing the person behind hadn't followed up.

“What? Do you need an invitation or what?” The girl used to see him still leaning on the car

“You go; I will sleep in the car, anyway; I am poor, I don’t have money to pay for my stay in the hotel even for one night,” Rock dramatically ranted while opening his arms and with a pitiful look on his face.

The girl rolled her eyes,

“Your drama, okay, I will pay for your room, come and sleep; after all, I can’t let my driver sleep on the street, who knows if he has resentment about this, and then I can’t reach my destination peacefully.” 

The girl said half-truth and half-jokingly, but her words aren’t really falling; after all, Rock is a person who only has his eyes on the money, nothing else even the beautiful women couldn’t make his eyes shine as money makes, she know his personality well, that’s why she is a friend of this person called Rock which is just code name.

“Okay, Miss, you are really the goddess of kindness and love; I wish you to have hundreds of runaways, for which I will be your hired driver, right? Miss, if you want to plan trips like this in the future, you don’t need to find anyone else, I am always available for you” Rock was flattering so much that the girl can feel that if she were a little dumb, then she would have already raised to the sky by this person.

“So much flattery, I am about to puke, no need, come on.”

After that, they booked two rooms, had their dinner, then retreated to their room, and early next morning, both of them checked out, and then from there, they drove for almost a half-day, then they parked in front of the airport.

The girl smiled at him and then said,

“Now, your work is completed; I will transfer money to you now; thank you for driving me here.” 

With that, she took her mobile and transferred money,

“Here, I am done. Goodbye.”

That girl was walking towards the airport. 

But Rock called,

“Hey”

The girl turned around and raised her brows,

“What’s your real name?” Rock asked curiously because when she contacted him, she gave him the name ‘Zero.’

Even though no one really gives the real names in their work, they both are together for the whole day and night, so at least they can be considered acquaintances, maybe friends.

The girl slowly smiled at him, then came back to stand in front of him. 

“You wanna know my real name? Okay, let me introduce myself to you; I am Amelia Hamstring; nice to meet you, Sam Steven” Amelia smiled and said.

“Hello, nice to… wait, how do you know my real name?” Rock Aka Sam was bewildered 

“Guess” With these words, Amelia turned around, walked into the airport, and then vanished from his eyesight.

He was in a daze, 

“Guess? How did she know my name?” Sam couldn’t figure it out.

But he could only sigh. 

“I hope to meet you again,” he murmured faintly.

Then he turned the car and went around.

Amelia just boarded the plane, then slept until she reached her destination, from there she again boarded another plane, after like six hours of journey, she reached her final destination,

El Eastree, King Creek

She turned and looked at the plane way she came back, 

Chuckle

“No one would think I will be here; try to find me a little soon; if not, I will be bored.” Saying this, she turned around and walked out of the airport.

“Taxi”

Climbing the taxi, she gave the address of the hotel she would be staying at.

“To the Emperor Hotel”

Looking outside,

“I just hope my life would be pretty interesting here,” Amelia murmured to herself.

“Miss, are you new here?” The driver asked when he saw her looking around with interest,

“Somewhat…. I have been here but had no chance to look around the city, but from now on, maybe there will be a chance to enjoy this place” Amelia smiled at the driver.

A driver is a middle-aged man, of somewhat between forty-fifty years with an amiable look and kind eyes without a speck of greed or other negative emotions.

He looked at the girl in the back seat through the mirror,

She is in a white shirt and black Jeans, which is normal and casual dressing, but her aura made her stand out from the crowd is her aura, unrestrained and unreserved, wild and mature, a weird combination.

She always has a small smile, innocent and pure, with mid-waist black hair and deep black eyes.

This girl is different without heavy makeup or any act of luxury, simple.

“Oh… good, good, this place is really good, and there are many places you can watch, you will definitely enjoy your stay here” The driver is a native of El Eastree, and he is passionate about his own place, so he is proud when someone says that this place is good.
