Waking up i am wondering why I feel so weird. Oh yea, it’s the change coming. I’m about to get my wolf, I’ll be 18 soon so that has to be why I’m feeling off. Shaking my head forcefully to wake up, I get out of bed and start thinking to myself.

The town has been in a buzz since the announcement of the mating ceremony of the Alpha’s only daughter. Every pack member has been summoned to appear for the ceremony today. I really hate going to these ceremony’s but everyone is required to be there via Alpha Tomas’ rules.

I hate standing out like a sore thumb. I’m so much taller than everyone else and I get so sick of all the attention I get. Anyway, time to take a shower and get ready.

After getting ready I walk out of the house and decide to go for a run down to the pack house court yard where the ceremony will be. It’s only about a 5 mile run. I had already told mom and dad I’ll meet them there.

During my run I can feel my muscles changing and growing. I feel faster and can feel more strength in my strides. I’m starting to sweat now and all of a sudden my clothes start ripping at the seams and it nearly falls off.

Am I growing AGAIN, I thought to myself? Thank God I brought my jacket! I stop to just go ahead and tear off my shirt the rest of the way! It’s already tattered.

I feel like I have a whole new body. I look down at my rock hard chest and my ripped abs and think, wow I’m changing FAST!

I start running again and think to myself, I can just put my jacket on once I get there. I hear a car approach & I veer to the left to get out of the way.

Oh! It’s one of Alpha Tomas’ cars. They must be on their way to the pack house. The car starts slowing down and the window rolls down.

“Hi there little wolf, what is your name?” The Luna asks me. “Ummm Jayden” I say shyly. She smells the air to take in my scent and says, “you’re wolf is coming soon.”

“Ummm yes, yes Luna.” She seems surprised at my shyness and looks me over. There’s a weird look in her eye and I’m not quite sure why she’s looking at me this way.

“You’re large for a wolf, do you have Alpha blood in you?” She asked. “No no Luna I don’t, at least I’ve never been told that so no” I say.

She extends her arm out of the window & touches me. She begins tracing the beads of sweat with her finger, that are rolling down my bicep.

Luna brings her arm back into the car and smells my scent on her hand. She then looks back at me with a lustful look and says…

“Well, it was nice meeting you Jayden and I will see you at the ceremony”. She looks me up and down, then the window rolls up and the car takes off and trails down the road.

“What was THAT about,” I say out loud! Realizing I yelled it rather loudly, i look around to make SURE nobody else was near. I smelled the air to be CERTAIN! I didn’t smell anyone.

I hope NOBODY seen the Luna touching my arm because there could be serious consequences. After a few moments of SHOCK, I shake my head and start putting on my jacket that has been tied around my waste.

Zip… I’m almost there so I’m just going to put what happened out of my mind so I don’t start acting all uncomfortable around people the way I do. I hate being this shy because I can’t hide ANYTHING!

I finally look up after getting out of my head & I notice that I’ve arrived. Im already approaching the large courtyard to the pack house…
