Kendall opened the front door and I entered after switching on the sitting room light.
"What were you doing alone in the dark with your boss who you call my name?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.
I knew that was the reason for his mood change.
"We were discussing about something" I said shrugging my shoulder as I take off my footwear.
"Discussing what?" He asked as he sat beside me.
"It's a business talk. You are not a worker of the restaurant" I said resting my back on the sofa putting both hands as he back of my head as I sighed.
He grabbed my hand and made me face him.
"Melody, please...I....I can't afford to lose you" he said, vulnerability present in his face.
I sighed and looked at him. "We were discussing about what happened to me today?" I said and he was alarmed.
"What Happened to you? Did a guy try to take advantage of you?
