I smile as a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I had just finished getting the coffee started when she came up behind me. I have been up for a while now and decided to get up. Jayson was mumbling about something in his sleep while Taelin was curled up against him probably using him as her personal heater.

“Good morning kitten.” I said.

“Morning, coffee?” She slurred.

Someone isn’t fully awake yet. She isn’t a morning person and until she has her coffee isn’t the most coherent person. I let her know that it is brewing, and she starts to whine. I tell her that I was about to make some French toast which makes her squeal with happiness. I tell her to go sit down in the living room. I don’t want her sitting at the table in the kitchen. The chairs aren’t that uncomfortable, but they wouldn’t be the best for her. I watch her leave and I do notice she is walking a little more normally today.
