Leaving Deep Shadow Pack

After Clay came into the kitchen he took her side yet again. Even though only 1 hour before he was the loving mate I had always wished for. Now I felt alone. Hopefully once the child is born am hoping it will get better and he will turn her away.

The next thought I had was when I caught him making out with an omega. We argued till the early hours, he didn't stay in our room that night. The following night I was woken by a searing pain in my stomach, it was excruciating I had never felt pain like this before. I didn't know what it was. It carried on for about an hour then it slowly went away. I got out of bed and took some pain medication and thankfully I went back to sleep. Clay wasn't in bed when this happened. I remember calling Debbie the next day and she wanted us to meet up. I went and asked Clay if I could borrow the car which he said I could. I met Debbie in the town diner, she was already waiting for me. I ordered a decaff coffee and I told her what happened the night before. I recall when we met up again Debbie's boyfriend Jason told me that the pain I had encountered was a pain that mates get when their other half is being intimate with someone other than their mate. I sat their and was in disbelief. I couldn't believe he would do that to me especially when I was pregnant. It didn't happen again for a long time even though I did feel a few twinges every so often.

The night I woke up with chronic pains I thought he was being unfaithful again. This time I called the doctor as I saw blood on the sheet. I panicked as I was worried for my baby. The Doctor came and checked me. I couldn't get hold of Clay as he hadn't marked me so the connection wasn't there. The doctor smiled at me and told me that my baby was on the way. The doctor helped me dress and helped me to the hospital which wasn't far from the pack house. I got settled in my room. Clay missed the birth of the twins. We only thought I was having one but my little daughter was hiding behind her brother. It was out of this world looking down at my perfect bundles of joy. I couldn't believe I was a mum. I would love them, protect them and make sure they are always happy.

Clay came to see us the following day. He sat on the edge of the bed holding Jay (thats what we named our son), when he leant forward to kiss me, when I saw a hickey on his chest. As her went to kiss me on my lips I moved my head to the side so he kissed my cheek. He looked at me as if to say what the fuck but i didn't care. What should of been a private exciting time welcoming our babi2es into this world he was with another woman again.

It was not long after I had the twins that I received a phone call when I was in the middle of bathing them. It was my fathers best friend Levi. I remember the words he told me that day. He told me that my dad had died. He had a heart attack whilst out in the field tending to he cattle. I dropped the phone and I remember Clay taking the phone up and talking to Levi. I didn't hear anything on what was said as I was in shock. Clay helped me to our room and asked the omegas to help with the twins. I was a mess after that call, I couldn't stop crying, I had lost both parents now and it broke my heart knowing that my dad would never meet his grandchildren.

Clay had told Levi to tke charge of the farm and hire some help till I was strong enough to visit. Up to now Clay messed around with different women on a weekly basis. He caused me pain time and time again from his infidelity. It was wearing me down and it was taking it's toll on me. He wouldcome to bed smelling of other women's perfume. Which made me wanna chuck up. I had decided to leave him 8 months ago but he begged me to stay. He said he was going to change no more women. He would become the husband and father that we all deserved. That was until this afternoon. The twins were in school. I had another 2 hours before I had to collect them. I wanted to talk to Clay about visiting Uncle Levi to see how the ranch was coping. I wanted to go check the account books. I know Uncle Levi knows what he is doing but I wanted to take some of the pressure off of him. I know I was now the sole owner of the ranch, but I just wanted to go back for a visit. I walked towards his office and I heard noises. I slowly turned the door knob and suddenly I felt the pain again. I breathed threw it and opened the door. I stood there and watched Clay put his head between the woman's legs who was laying flat on her back on his desk. Guess who it was? yep that's right fucking Sophie. They didn't even notice me standing there. I slammed the door shut and they both shot up. Clay looked at me and Sophie smirked at me as she pulled her skirt down. I picked up a book and threw it at his fucking head. He came at me and grabbed my arm. telling me it wasn't what it looked like. Yeh right he think i am fucking blind the fucking asshole. I slapped him as hard as I could across his face. my fucking hand stung but I didn't care. He put his hand up to his cheek, I told him we were threw. I knew then that this was it I had enough of it all. I told Sophie if she wanted him she could fucking have him. I stormed back up to my room and now here I am. He didn't come after me, he probably thought it would be best to let me calm down. I got up from the bed and got my suitcase and packed some clothes. In fact I only packed the clothes that I had brought I didn't want to take anything that Clay had brought me. I then went and packed some clothes for the twins. After I had packed I made sure I had my phone and my bank card and I.D. I went to the safe and took out mine and the children's passports. We are going home. I dragged my case down the back staircase that led out to the back of the pack house. I carried it to the car that was parked in the garage. I loaded it up and drove out. As I approached the main gates on the border I told the warrior guarding it to tell Clay I had gone to pick up the children. I told him to tell him that I was also going to take the children shopping. Hopefully that will give me enough time to change the car over and get to the airport.

I went and picked up the children early and told them we were going on a vacation. I drove to the garage left Clay's car and brought a cheap one. I loadedthe suitcase and put the children in the car and strapped them in.
