Being the CEO, I pursued my plan of going to the States to fix the bankruptcy issue that we were facing in one of our semiconductor companies. As if I had a choice not to? Kung hindi lang talaga kami naaksidente ay kasama ko pa sana si Diane, at doon na rin sana kami nag-honeymoon. Pero lahat ng plano ko ay binago ng aksidenteng ‘yon.

It would have been the right time to introduce her to my parents, and knowing Mom, hindi ‘yon papayag na hindi kami muling magpakasal ni Diane sa States. My face-to-face conversation with Mom was soothing me, though. I was cold before and always coping up with my emotions alone. I never even remembered a time in my life I asked her for comfort.

Although I was in the States, I always asked my butler, Janno, to update me regarding the car accident case. It was such a great relief knowing that Leandro was found not guilty with the lawsuit, dahil
