8. Anticipation

My heart hammered in my chest as I hesitated; the air between us was thick with possibility. I barely recognized my own voice. “Oh, I don't know what I should say..."

He leaned in, his voice low, dangerous, filled with promise. “Say yes and let yourself go. Once you do, everything gets easier.”

His smile faded, his eyes turning dark and magnetic. I felt exposed—like he could see every desire and fear swirling inside me. I wanted everything he offered, but fear held me back. He saw it, and something in his gaze told me he liked the challenge. “Don’t be afraid," he murmured, his hand trailing over my thigh—so gentle it made me shiver.

“This is the kind of need we can't control." His touch sent sparks up my skin, his words slipping past every wall I tried to erect.

"I know you feel this too. I'll protect you—no harm will come. You're safe with me. But you need rest; tomorrow everything changes.”

His words melted my last defenses. I wanted to trust and let go, be free. I’m still worried; was there danger here? Would Mark storm in and ruin everything? But I pushed those thoughts away. Tonight, I would let myself get lost in this pleasure—and tomorrow, face whatever comes.

“Blaze, when do I meet your boss?"

I asked, my voice trembling with anticipation I couldn’t hide. “Soon—sooner than you think. Rest up, our queen. Tomorrow, everything will change." Blaze winked and disappeared, leaving my heart thundering with anticipation and surging with deep cravings and urges that had come to life because of him and Diamante. I wanted them to stay and do unthinkable things to my body, but I couldn’t bring myself to plead and beg, so I relinquished in ecstasy and agony until I passed out.

The next morning, I woke up feeling electric—every nerve humming with their remembered touch. Sunlight spilled across the room. The air smelled rich with breakfast—croissants, sausage, fresh coffee. I smiled, almost giddy, as I stepped onto the veranda and saw him—Diamante, shirtless, arranging flowers and food as if this paradise was his personal gift to me. "Good morning, our queen," Diamante purred, his eyes tracing every inch of me. I tried to ignore his lascivious peering. Instead, I smiled back warmly and replied. "Good morning.

"Breakfast will be ready shortly."

I wore a mauve two-piece silk lace lingerie set with a robe that fit like it was made for me, and furry mauve colored high-heeled glass slippers. I felt beautiful for the first time in ages. Every detail here seemed tailored to my desires. Was this a dream? I’d never been cared for like this. Diamante moved about, shirtless and stunning, this exotic, magnetic man making breakfast just for me. Paradise had never felt so real—or so seductively dangerous.

“Everything is ready. You can come and have morning refreshments," he called out.

I sat at the table. “Please, don't go have breakfast with me. You’ve worked so hard preparing this lovely breakfast; please share it with me.” I asked him. Diamante started talking and asking questions.

"So, you are not upset with me?"

With excitement sparkling in my eyes, I said, "No, I feel incredible. I can’t wait to go to the beach with you. “It was bright, and the sun was high!

"It's supposed to get up to 88 degrees today—perfect weather for our plans to hang out at the beach all day."

Diamante replied to me. "I can't wait for you to experience the wonders of the island beach."

I nodded, but it wasn’t the beach that made my heart race. It was Diamante. And Blaze. And whatever was about to happen next.

“I’m thrilled! Blaze made it clear—I can trust you both, and you've earned my trust. You’ve treated me with respect.

“Good! I'm going to prepare lunch too. Tonight is a special night for you," he stated.

"Why? What's happening tonight?"

"You'll see. Tonight is special. Pick your most beautiful dress, style your hair, experiment with the makeup supplied. If you need anything, I’m here."

"Oh no, that's unnecessary, but what's happening tonight?"

"I can't tell you. It's a surprise. So, eat up. We are going to have fun!"

We laughed and talked as we ate breakfast. After we ate, Diamante said, "Take a few hours to prepare yourself, and let your breakfast digest before coming to the beach. We'll see you around noon."  

Later, sunlight blazing, I stepped onto the veranda and spotted Blaze and Diamante already at the beach. Blaze hoisted a huge umbrella, his muscles flexing, then stripped off his shirt and shorts to reveal tight blue swim trunks. Diamante spread out a giant towel, and they looked impossibly perfect in the sun. “Desire surged through me at the sight of them. Blaze, all raw power and confidence. Diamante is sculpted and mysterious.

My cheeks burned from smiling—I’d never felt so drawn to anyone, let alone two men at once. With them, I felt like the best version of myself—desired, sexy, alive. Paradise wasn’t just a place. It was how they made me feel. I couldn’t let them see how flustered I was, so I sashayed toward them, excitement fizzing in my veins.

As I walked, I glimpsed a mysterious two-story house down the beach, its white curtains billowing, but I couldn’t tear my eyes from Blaze and Diamante.

"Hmm…I wonder who lives down there?" I didn't give it a second thought. My focus was on joining Blaze and Diamante and the fun that awaited me.
