CHAPTER 90

Just as I was regaining my composure from being slammed onto the stone ground of the patio I growled as I got to my feet quickly, ready to abuse and scream at whoever stopped me from getting the only release from this prison that I had been living in.

But when I turned to look, I saw the blonde hair covering the face of the person that was facing away from me, laying on her side on the ground.

“Aurora.” I said, almost like I didn’t believe it.

She turned her face to look at me, her bright blue eyes shining in the moonlight, looking straight at me.

I dove on the ground next to her and wrapped her in my arms. I felt all over her back and her hair and the side of her face, just to make sure that she was real.

“Is it really you?” I asked.

“Of course it’s me.” She said.

She slowly started getting up, but I noticed that she was having trouble. And that’s when I noticed her swollen stomach.

“Oh my god.” I said.

“How long have I been gone?” She asked.

“You don’t know?” I ask
