It took us two days to get back to Arthur’s castle, and I was surprised to see that the damage from the attack was already fixed. His men worked pretty quickly around here. Even though it had only been two days, my stomach had swollen a lot more than it was when I killed Mila. I was actually a little curious to know how far along I was now. Because I had no idea and there was no way of telling until I got home. As soon as we got to the castle we were greeted with a hero’s welcome. CONNOR POV I was laying in bed next to an empty vodka bottle when someone started banging on my bedroom door. I laid there ignoring it until the door banged open and I saw Miles standing there with his new mate Emma. “Get out.” I said, rolling over. “Connor. Just as I was regaining my composure from being slammed onto the stone ground of the patio I growled as I got to my feet quickly, ready to abuse and scream at whoever stopped me from getting the only release from this prison that I had been living in. But when I turned to look, I saw the blonde hair covering the face of the person that was facing away from me, laying on her side on the ground. “Aurora.” I said, almost like I didn’t believe it. She turned her face to look at me, her bright blue eyes shining in the moonlight, looking straight at me. I dove on the ground next to her and wrapped her in my arms. AURORA POV As soon as I came through that portal, I knew it worked and that I was home again. I came through at the same place as when I went to the other realm. And I knew my way back to the castle just fine. I started running back to the castle, but I was slower these days with the stomach weighing me down. But as soon as I started getting that really funny feeling I started pushing myself to go faster and harder. Connor was in trouble and I needed to get to him now. As soon as I got to the castle, I saw wolves running off into the forest, but Connor was at the castle. I followed my feeling and his strongest scent around to the patio, only to see him standing on it and ready to jump off of it and kill himself. I practically flew through the air to tackle him backwards onto the patio, and I hurt myself as I landed as well. It wasn’t a soft landing. We got to the hospital in record time as soon as I went into labor and I could tell that Connor was panicking. And to tell you the truth, it was driving me crazy. I was taken straight to the birthing suite that was done up, just for me. A private room with all the perfect amenities that I didn’t ask them to do but no one would take no for an answer. And Connor wanted the best for me and his baby. As soon as we got there the doctor came to examine me and he said that this baby was in a hurry. It wasn’t going to be a very long labor at all. The second I heard my father's voice booming down the hallway my heartbeat started pounding like it was about to come out of my chest. I started to feel dizzy from the panic I was going into. "You know, it doesn't matter. I have to get back to training." Alpha Connor says standing directly in front of the door with his entire body and the door knob stopped moving.
