“This isn’t information!” King Philip Lancaster snapped.
“Your Majesty, this is all that we were able to find out,” Kevlar replied respectfully.
Kevlar, Dumont, and Presley had left the Dark Moon Pack and left for the Werewolf Royal Castle to report back their findings. They had changed their minds about Calypso, even though they hadn’t told her that.
They respected her more than she knew.
They’d gone to the King to report that there was nothing off about the Dark Moon Pack as the King had suspected. They knew that they were putting their lives in danger by lying to him, but they couldn’t bring themselves to share Calypso’s story, especially since she hadn’t exactly shared it with a lot of people as it was.
