Chapter Six

I headed to the exit, I heard it charge. It moved so silently that I wouldn’t have heard it if it wasn’t for my Alpha hearing. I spun around shifting before colliding with the body of the intruder. He was heavy, I stumbled back as his form slammed into me. Snarls and teeth-gnashing filled the air. I would not let this creature win. I bit down hard on his leg causing him to howl in pain. He jumped back a bit before charging me again. This time, I leaped into the air as he tried to slam into my body. I landed on his back. Sinking my teeth into the back of his neck, he roared as he tried to shake me off. He fell as he tried to grab me with his huge jaws again. When he hit the ground, I sank my teeth into his back, a large crack echoed through the air as his spine snapped severing his spinal cord. He yelped knowing he was going to die. Not wasting a moment, I grabbed his throat with my teeth. Shaking my head viciously, I tore his throat out. Spitting out the mix of blood and fur, I pante
