Chapter Forty

Reiner’s POV

As I looked at the photos with Myla, I could feel the anger bubbling up. They had hurt her, tortured her, and kept her chained to a wall as they took photos of her! What kind of sick perverts are these psychos? The Alpha Summit had been difficult, to say the least. Then, some sicko sends her these. I swear when I find them, I am going to torture them before I kill them.

“Myla, why do you call them the others?”

“I call them the others because that’s what they called themselves.”

I wonder why they would call themselves the others. “I am going to have my tech guys trace the email to figure out where it came from. Hopefully, it will provide some clues.”

We landed about an hour later. Myla was quiet the rest of the flight. I assumed she was exhausted. As we left the jet, Barrett hopped out of the waiting car holding Evie.

“Myla, Reiner, welcome home!” He smiled happily. “We have missed you!”
