Liam's P.O.V.

I can't believe that I'm not just a human. I've never heard of a caladrius. It felt strange touching Karalee and feeling her emotions as though they were my own. I could feel her fear of facing Sarita as well as her love for me.

"Well, I guess now's a good time to introduce myself." I look around for the male voice but don't see anyone other than Karalee and Polly.

"I just heard someone talking. Did you hear him?" I ask Karalee.

"Hear who? I didn't hear anything." She says, looking at Polly, who's shaking her head.

"I'm not out there; I'm inside you. My name is Tyson, and I'm your kangaroo." I look at Karalee.

"It's my kangaroo. He said his name is Tyson." She looks shocked, and then she starts laughing.

"Tyson, like Mike Tyson. That's perfect. Well, I guess that confirms that you're not fully human. So now that just made my plan perfect." Karalee says. Polly and I look at her in confusion.
