Simon's P.O.V.

After the doctors do a quick assessment, they take Krystal back to do scans so they know the true extent of her injuries. We're lucky they have good generators; otherwise, they would have to fly her to one of the larger towns.

I pace the waiting room anxiously. Dorian texted me that her last name is Johnson. Her husband is Phillip Johnson, and they've been married for a little over a year. Krystal is twenty-three. He said he figured I may need the information for the hospital so they would allow me to stay with her.
