Chapter 8 - Mark Me

Krystal's P.O.V.

The doctor is checking me out, and I know he wants to tell me I can't leave; it has only been a day since I was buried inside a house, but I want to go. I may be crazy, but I want to accept Simon's offer. I want him to mark me, make me a snow leopard, and heal my wounds. I want to be with this man who, in just this short amount of time, has shown me what life could be like with someone who cares for me. Like I said, you may think I'm crazy, but I'm taking this leap of faith.

"You really should stay here, but if you insist on leaving, it's your right. Just please promise you'll come back if you have any problems." The doctor says with a sigh. He and the nurse walk out of the room to get my discharge paperwork ready. I turn to Simon.

"Are you sure you want to mark me and make me your mate?" I ask him. Simon leans over and kisses my forehead.
