Misty's P.O.V.

I feel like an embarrassment. I'm twenty, and the daughter of the alpha of the Golden Moon pack. It's expected that I will have my mate before I turn twenty-one. Well, tomorrow is my birthday, and still no mate. At Golden Moon, we have powerful magic that can only be released once we're mated. That's what my parents say anyway. I've yet to see anyone with magic in the pack. My brother, who is next in line to be alpha, met his mate the day he turned eighteen. Why do I have to be different?
