Kaylene POVThe heavy feeling in my head makes it unbearable. She kept twisting her feet as if trying to drill a hole throughout my head. Through the glass window, wiped clean, no dust attached to it. A very clear glass, just like the weather. Clear heat and smoke in the air, the car passing by the streets, people walking down the lining up stores. Busy with their life. There's nothing she can do except stand there, facing the window, watching people sit down and properly eat their breakfast. She was passing by, in the hope of finding a job. Puddles are everywhere, making the earth wet and cold. Kaylene's POV It's been weeks, I lost count of how many days I was in the streets. Roaming around, trying to find something to eat. Sleeping in the same cold wet alleyway, trying to get some rest that I think I didn't find much lately since I can't go home anymore. Early dawn easily slipped through the end of night, open another curtain of new chapter of life.
